Information and conditions
Check-in: upon arrival it is essential to present a valid identity document for each guest, in order to allow registration according to the Italian laws in force. Minors must be accompanied by at least one of their parents or have an authorization signed by them. The apartments are available from 14:00.Please inform us in advance of your expected arrival time or any delays. In case the arrival time is not communicated in advance, check-in will be available from 14:00 to 21:00.
Check-out: by 11:00 a.m. Special requests for late check-out must be notified in writing and receive our approval.
Cleaning: daily cleaning is on request and has an extra cost, must be agreed upon at check-in. Bed linen and towels are changed every 3 days from 11:00 to 13:00.
Pool: The Castello del Duca houses a panoramic swimming pool, on top of the highest hill of the estate, 6 m x 12 m, the water height is 1.10 m, because the height is less than 1.5 m, does not require the presence of a lifeguard. Minors need an escort, this person will be responsible for any damage to things/ people that the child may cause. The opening hours are from 9:00 to 20:00 every day. Meals and drinks are not allowed inside the pool. No diving is allowed.
It is also strictly forbidden to wander and/or occupy shared areas of the Castello del Duca in bathing suits and/or shirtless.
It’s forbidden to hang drying cloths in public areas, if required, a drying rack will be provided in the apartment.
Smoking: Smoking and fireplace are not allowed in the apartments. Smoking is allowed only in public areas and shared spaces must be kept clean and tidy. Cigarettes /butts should not be left in gardens and common areas.
Parking: Free private parking in the hotel, no reservation required. The parking spaces are outdoor and unguarded.
Events and parties: No type of event is allowed.
Security: All guests are welcome to follow standard procedures for security on site. Inside the Castle of the Duke will not be allowed to enter people outside the initial registration upon request. No barbecue is allowed without our explicit approval and the presence of our staff.
Suites with kitchenette: since the Castle Suites have a kitchenette, breakfast is not served. You will find inside your room a small courtesy breakfast kit.
Early departures: any changes must be notified promptly before arrival; If guests decide to leave before the scheduled date, the full amount of the stay will have already been paid.
Activities of the Castle: Walk among the historic olive trees enjoying the view of Rome, read a book in our historic courtyard, or in the garden on the edge of our iconic fountain. Watch the majestic sunset from the fountain garden, stretch out on the lawn, play ball in the large green spaces of the Castle, spread a tablecloth for a romantic picnic in the open air…
